Description

This is by far the best recording ever made by Sheffield Labs. They pioneered the direct to disc recordings and got some great artists to participate over the years.
This LP is a time capsule of those awesome times. An LP that is still sealed in the original bag and features the Porcaro brothers (AKA, Toto), and a now-renown film composer, James Newton Howard.  Musically, the record is a real winner as well with a tasty mix of funk, jazz, rock, and synth.
Due to the unique direct to disc process, these records were pressed from the few original masters that were cut at the live recording event. No taping process was used. Literally from mic-mixer to cutting head. The sound and dynamics are by far the best ever put to vinyl and is a test of ANY playback system.
This is a non reserve auction and have set the starting price accordingly. I am also entertaining offers.
