Description
Available for purchase is a one-of-a-kind item, truly a rare opportunity for the violin collector. A factory-sealed copy of the original US Capitol issue ("Full Dimensional Stereo") of Michael Rabin's 1960 album, "The Magic Bow." Accompanied by the Hollywood Bowl Symphony Orchestra conducted by Felix Slatkin. Repertoire includes:
Kreisler - Caprice Viennois
Dinicu-Heifetz - Hora Staccato
Massenet - Meditation from Thais
Sarasate - Zigeunerweisen
Paganini-Kreisler - Moto Perpetuo
Kreisler - The Old Refrain
Rimsky-Korsakov-Heifetz - Flight of the Bumble Bee
Saint-Saens - Introduction and Rondo Capriccioso
The cover shows only the slightest indications of wear: minor discoloration on the lower corners. Otherwise mint by any standard, with no evidence of color-fading or sun exposure.
The sealed, manufacturer's plastic covering shows every indication of its 50-year age. In particular you'll note the small (2mm opening) of the seal on the opening side of the cover and the cardboard discoloration underneath.
Payment must be received within 48 hours of invoice delivery.
