This LP comes from a recent collection we acquired from the estate of a former employee of Columbia Records. The collection arrived straight from storage and a great portion was sealed; those that are opened were promo copies and unplayed. As an industry insider, these LPs are first off the manufacture line, meaning they are from a "hot stamper." Many will bare the "promo" or "sample copy" sticker or promo punch. These are the closest to the original sound intent of the label and mastering engineer and should be considered audiophile by the nature of their close proximity to initial recording. We consider this collection a rare treasure and you will be thrilled with your purchase for a lifetime of listening enjoyment.
