NOTE:  This album came from the extensive personal collection of an individual who retired from the retail music business in the early 80’s.  The albums have been stored virtually untouched and unplayed since that time in a climate controlled, non-smoking environment.  I will be selling many investment grade colored vinyl LPs, promos, sealed LPs, and other rare collector items over the coming months.  If you desire MINT albums, you will not be disappointed.

Condition:

STILL SEALED in original factory shrink wrap.  Shrink wrap is sparkling clean and fully intact.  Rare original “hype” sticker is on the front of shrink wrap.  Shrink wrap is very tight, resulting in two corner tips being slightly compressed.  Overall an amazingly beautiful copy.

“Live Alive is a magnificent double-length showcase for Stevie Ray Vaughan's guitar playing, featuring a number of extended jams on a selection of most of the best material from Vaughan's first three albums, plus covers of "Willie the Wimp," "I'm Leaving You (Commit a Crime)," and Stevie Wonder's "Superstition."  The album may not be exceptionally tight or concise, but then again, that's not the point. The renditions here sound less polished than the studio versions, with Vaughan's guitar tone bitingly down and dirty and his playing spontaneous and passionate.”
