Amazingly ***STILL SEALED***
It has been reported in recent years that Peter Green plays guitar uncredited on two songs on this Hard'n'heavy bluesy U.K. 1970 classic album. Green does a slow blues harp and wah wah guitar passages on both "There'll Be Changes" and "A New Way" (which is nearly 8 minutes long); the first half of the track being pleasant quiet strumming in what sounds similar to Green's softer moments from his own "The End Of The Game" 1970 LP while the second half of the track leaps in to harsh hard & heavy rock jams which features Peter Greens' loud wah wah guitar licks. Whatever the case, this album primarily cooks and is the better of their two albums ...
TOE FAT ~ "TWO" opens with "Stick Heat" a tricky beginning with strumming ukulele that suddenly turns in to a heavy rock dirge with screeching guitars and vocals. "Indian summer" is a quiet more laid back groove in 2 minutes between the next thumper, "Idol" which holds no punches; a pounding rock stomper with sizzling guitar work. Keeping the pace, "Since You've Been Gone" is a lean punchy rocker, "Three Time Loser", delivers another blistering heavy workout and "Midnight Sun" is a pretty cool shuffling guitar riffer. You may find this album interesting listening in the sense that it sounds as if many tracks here have that same kind of wah wah guitaring that Peter Green is apparently playing on the first two tracks as well as his "End Of The Game" Lp which was recorded at the same time of this Lp ...so the legend remains that he may be on more tracks here but who knows if well ever find out for sure. TOE FAT ~ TWO is a legendary British heavy-weight psychrock classic and finding a nearly 40 year old SEALED original is certainly something of a joy to stick in one's rarities collection!
