This record was released by Project 3 Records in 1968 and bought by me from a dealer at a Star Trek convention in the mid-80s for my Sci-Fi collection. I never opened the record, and the shrink wrap is indeed original. The corners of the shrink wrap have worn away slightly which have allowed slight wear to corners of the cardboard sleeve. There is also an edge dent on the left-hand side that isn't too prominent, and this has resulted in slight marks to the shrink wrap as well (but it didn't break open). The wrap has been scuffed over the years and has yellowed slightly as well - I guess that's to be expected with its age - but this really doesn't detract much from the overall presentation. Don't let any of this scare you away. Sometimes explaning things can make small flaws sound worse than they really are. I really think you will be happy with the overall quality of this record. It just doesn't get much better than this, so please see the pics below to better appreciate. The camera flash went off in some photos and not in others, so I apologize for the colors not being completely true (especially on the back side). The actual color is more of a dark pink than it is red, if that helps. Be sure to check out my other listings as I have more great records and picture discs to offer (including more soundtracks)!
