We mail all paid items ONE WEEK after auctions end. Our listings are time consuming in detail and we are often traveling to find these gems, which at times delays the delivery schedule by a day or two. We ALWAYS process and ship every paid order. We have no control over parcels once they are mailed from our local Post Office. Overseas mail to some countries (Italy, Russia, France, in particular) has become very slow. Opening a dispute for slow mail is unacceptable. We work hard to provide excellent service as is represented by our well over 18,000 positive feedback. We use an ultrasonic KLAudio machine and thoroughly clean all records. Each order is carefully packaged by removing the LP from the jacket to avoid seam splits, use of 3 ml plastic cover sleeves over each LP and jacket, cardboard pad inserts, and placed in sturdy record mailers for safe delivery. We take Customer Service seriously, and want you to be satisfied. COUNTRY JOE & THE FISH's 'Electric Music For The Mind And Body' is of the bands two, or three most joyous and cohesive statements and this one was one of the most important, enduring documents of the pioneering psychedelic explosion. Country Joe & The Fish atmospherics & infectious song writing memorable melodies is drenched with exaggerated fuzz guitar, whirling organ, both at their most inventive. In contrast to Jefferson Airplane, who were at their best working within conventional song structures, and the Grateful Dead, who hadn't quite yet figured out how to transpose their music to the recording studio, Country Joe & the Fish delivered a fully formed, uncompromising, and yet utterly accessible LP -- in fact, often delightfully witty -- body of psychedelic music their very first time out. Ranging in mood from good-timey to downright freaked-out apocalyptic, this album embraces all of the facets of the band's music, which were startling in their diversity: check out the soaring guitar and swirling keyboard excursions ("Flying High," "Section 43," "Bass Strings," "The Masked Marauder"), the group's folk-rock roots ("Sad and Lonely Times"), McDonald's personal ode to Grace Slick ("Grace"), and their in-your-face politics ("Superbird"). Hardly any band since the Beatles had ever come up with such a perfect and perfectly bold introduction to who and what they were, and the results -- given the prodigious talents and wide-ranging orientation of this group -- might've scared off most major record labels. Gotta be one of the only SEALED originals left!
