Description

As you may know, record shrink-wrapping was introduced in the early 1960s. Prior to then, LP sleeves had paper label seals to designate that they were unopened. This rare find is an example. See close-up photos of the seal.
This 1959 vinyl LP, Gee, Baby Ain't I Good to You? by Donna Hightower includes the "do not break seal" sticker of Central Music Co. On the back of the album jacket is another sticker that reads, "This record exchangeable if seal is unbroken Central Music Co. A Google search revealed that this company was a longtime record business in Memphis, TN.
It's from the early days of stereo LPs and reads, This stereo record should be played only with a stereo cartridge and needle to avoid damage.
