and occasionally 30ips.
Every tape has been checked for quality. Most of the tapes are in near perfect condition but If there's a problem, we'll tell you. You won't have to "guess" about what you are getting. Several years ago we were fortunate to have been able to purchase a very large part of the tape library that at one time resided at the Capricorn Studios in Macon Georgia. The THIRD picture in the photo gallery is a small (very small) sampling of some of the boxes included in the collection, showing the various studio labels (or lack of studio labels) representative of the tapes in the collection. SEA LEVEL PERFORMING LIVE AT REBEL JAM IN ATLANTA ON MAY 3, 1978
  Rebel Jam was broadcast live from the Fox Theater in Atlanta, Georgia on May 3, 1978. By May 15th, Producer/Engineer Kurt Kinsel had mixed the performances and prepared masters for the entire show. While rummaging through boxes we found a complete set of Rebel Jam tapes. Though unmarked as such, we suspect that these are safeties that may have been prepared as file copies or for making radio station copies for later broadcast. Whatever the case, the sound is great and the performances are complete as performed. The artists include Stillwater, Dixie Dreggs and headliners, Sea Level. WE WILL BE AUCTIONING ALL 3 PERFORMANCES STARTING TONIGHT!

Sea level was the headline act for the show and they had the longest set. We have A LOT of live Sea Level material here and this performance is a true stand out among their recorded live performances. There are TWO tapes in this lot, marked  "REEL 3, SEGMENT 4 & REEL 4, SEGMENT 5 and SEGMENT 6", that make up their complete performance. Their performance includes the Sea Level classics like "King Grand" and "MIdnight Pass" and also has the Allman Brother's song, "Hot Lanta" as their encore. There is a fade out at the end of segment 5 and a fade in at the beginning of segment 6. There is leader between the 2 segments. The running time is roughly 70 minutes. The tape is a non-backcoated (NO sticky-shed!) 1 mil tape. It comes on the plastic reels and in the boxes shown in gallery picture 1.

In keeping with best studio practices, all tapes are shipped tails out (they need to be rewound BEFORE playing!)
