Description
UK WARNER BROTHERS (K 56007) FIRST PRESSING (July 1972) OF ALICE COOPER'S CLASSIC "School's Out" LP
COMPLETE WITH ITS ORIGINAL PAIR OF WHITE PAPER PANTIES - FANTASTIC COPY - SUPERB FLAWLESS SOUND
PRESSED WITH THE FIRST ISSUE GREEN WARNER BROTHERS GROOVED LABELS (which have no "MADE IN UK" statement - this was added sometime around the end of 1972)
MATRIX: K 56007 A-1 (etched "RAYS') / K 56007 B-1 (etched "RASIN')
THE RECORD IS HOUSED IN THE ORIGINAL DIE CUT, FOLD OUT DESK SLEEVE "Printed and made by MacNeill Press Ltd., London, S.E.1" (AS THE VERY FIRST ISSUE THERE IS NO TRACKLISTING ON THE BACK)
COMPLETE WITH THE ORIGINAL CLEAR PLASTIC INNER SLEEVE AND THE ORIGINAL WHITE PAPER PANTIES
LABELS: EXCELLENT+
Clean, unmarked labels with just a couple of slight spindle traces on both sides
VINYL Visual: NEAR MINT
Both surfaces are nice and shiny with hardly any marks (possibly none but I dare not say this in case someone finds one)
VINYL Audio: NEAR MINT
Superb sound quality - crystal clear, clean and sharp and my play-check at loud volume detected no major audio issues of note (no scratches or loud clicks/pops -even the track divisions have hardly any surface noise - plays beautifully throughout the entire album
SLEEVE: EXCELLENT +
A crisp, clean and fresh sleeve with very slight wear to the 2 square edged corners on the spine side (the other 2 corners are rounded) - all die-cut sections to the back are undamaged, all edges are sharp and all spine text is clear and bold. The only fault is a small ringed number 1 written in the bottom left hand corner as shown in the photo but this is very small.
PANTIES: EXCELLENT +
The original white panties are practically untouched with no fraying to the elasticated top, no marks and only slightly discoloured through age otherwise, like new
