PLEASE READ BEFORE BIDDING: Please read the entire auction listing, including shipping costs, before writing to ask a question. OUR GOAL IS CUSTOMER SATISFACTION. In the unlikely instance that you feel the need to open a resolution dispute before working with us, you will immediately be blocked from any further chance to acquire the rare music we present each and every week. Payment is required within seven days. We mail all paid items ONE WEEK after auctions end. Please keep in mind our listings are time consuming in detail and we are often traveling to find these gems, which at times delays the delivery schedule by a day or two. We ALWAYS process and ship every paid order. We have no control over parcels once they are mailed from our local Post Office.Overseas mail to some countries (Italy, Russia, France, in particular) has become very slow. Opening a dispute for slow mail is unacceptable and will result in blocking the bidder. We work hard to provide excellent service as is represented by our 8000 plus positive feedback. We use a VPI machine and thoroughly clean all records. Each order is carefully packaged by removing the LP from the jacket to avoid seam splits, use of 3 ml plastic cover sleeves over each LP and jacket, cardboard pad inserts, and placed in sturdy record mailers for safe delivery. We take Customer Service seriously, and want you to be satisfied. Original 1968 first pressing underground rock exploitation classic by the trippy crew that united under the aptly named T Swift And The Electric Bag ...
The heady underground-rock tunes are reminiscent of what may have been heard emanating from neighborhood garage bands that were blasting forth from the stage at the local fairground back in the late 1960's. T. Swift and the Electric Bag had a lineup of electric guitar, electric bass, drums and electric organ. The over driven echo and distortion present on these tracks give these cats a definite '60s sound that is not heard anymore in today's digital age. If you lived through the 1960's this recording will be a trip back in time. If you didn't you can get a taste of that era through this LP. T.Swift & The Electric Bag is yet another one of those psychedelic-era mysteries that has left barely a clue as to its true identity. The group's sole album has a lot more to offer than just a great fuzzed-out rendition of the classic Jimi Hendrix song, features original tracks that show the influence of such bands as the Byrds, the Doors, Vanilla Fudge & Bob Dylan."A Jet" is a straight cop of the Box Tops' "The Letter," "Take It Easy Baby" literally is Classics IV's "Spooky", they somehow managed to stumble on a handful of startlingly inspired moments.
"Free Form In 6," in particular, is a jolting freakout (think Chocolate Watchband by way of the Doors) that taps into some sort of zoned-out consciousness through its lulling jazz rhythms, fuzz bass, and ominous organ runs. Slightly less sublime but still outstanding are cut like the surf go-go "The Stinger", while "What's Your Bag?" has a spooky acid-washed guitar solo amid its slick, sub-Byrdsian raga noodling. "Expo in Sound" is perhaps the most psychedelic track on the album.The influences of Vanilla Fudge are quite evident.
