Our listings are time consuming in detail and we are often traveling to find these gems, which at times delays the delivery schedule by a day or two. We ALWAYS process and ship every paid order. We have no control over parcels once they are mailed from our local Post Office. Overseas mail to some countries (Italy, Russia, France, in particular) has become very slow. We use an ultrasonic KLAudio machine and thoroughly clean all records. Each order is carefully packaged by removing the LP from the jacket to avoid seam splits, use of 3 ml plastic cover sleeves over each LP and jacket, cardboard pad inserts, and placed in sturdy record mailers for safe delivery. - Obviously one listen will clue this bands first two album releases should to be considered as of the more important "Krautrock" collectibles from the early '70s.

- "WINTRUP" their second is filled with outstanding musicianship featuring long involved acid-tinged prog & psych passages exotic & eastern flourishes and basically for any collector who has run the limit with their early Pink Floyd And Hawkwind (SPACE-ROCK) classics.

- The challenging sound of Kraut/Jazz & acid-Rock with evident ethnic hints still present and overall Kraan's work follows the lines of their great first LP with killer rated structured parts as well as more loose and freestyle creations, based on a jamming moods. Instead of delivering self-indulgent sax manipulations, Johannes Pappert show his tremendous talent in the album, using the sax either for producing ethnic tunes of an Arabian taste, a bit close to AREA's style, or collaborating with the rest of the band in nice and heavy-psych/prog interplay's.The psychedelic influences are still apparent in the guitar moves of Peter Wolbrandt and most of the tracks are characterized by massive, energetic grooves, sudden, intricate breaks and impressive, tripped-out solos.
- Gone are the more spacey passages of ''Kraan'' and the band replaced them with some more pleasant parts of a Funkadelic "Maggot Brain" approach, mixed with the powerful jazzy flavor of their proposed progressive rock adventures.
- The later tracks of the album show a turn towards more Heavy/Kraut/Psych Rock realms with scorching guitars, wild vocals and rhythmic parts and limited sax workouts.
This is actually one of our favorite albums within the "Krautrock" field. The songwriting is organic and formulaic, with memorable riffs and shifting song structures that sometimes meld into powerful jams. Very nice use of sound mixing and atmospheric effects as well - they never sound sterile or overworked. Kraan's vocalist Peter Wolbrandt is at his most feral, unintelligible and raucous - the vocals rock.
- "Silver Wings" starts informally, then the first great riff starts and finally leads into an exciting jam. Some other favorite parts are the delicate opening and the urgent meter changes in "Backs," Wintrup with its ethereal vocal refrain and acoustic guitar solo, and the dangerous guitar riff and rhythm section in "Jack Steam." These guys play it like they mean it here. As has been said, the production is excellent, with an immediacy, intimacy and energy that is rarely found through all aspects of tracks from beginning to albums end.

- The cover: rated: VG++ **actually could be better, there's some scratchy marks in the LAMINATED gatefold cover only at top right of front, else-wise all colorful and acceptable, some light handling visuals to the edges, nothing alarming just not quite mint.
- There are no split seams, no writing, no delete marks, and lots of reasons to want/need this original "rarity" with dynamic offerings it truly displays within the grooves:
- The vinyl: Rated: near M- looks very clean and will perform up to the standards you hope for! Both labels free from writing, dirt, soil...
