Description
SAX2473/4 First pressing Blue/silver labels / Mahler: Symphony No.2 'Resurrection' Schwarzkopf & Rossl-Majdan / Philharmonic Orchestra / Otto Klemperer.
SAX 2473 Matrix numbers: YAX 903-1 and YAX 904-9
SAX 2474 Matrix numbers: YAX 905-2 and YAX 906-2
Record 1 side 2 has a very shallow pressing fault during the first movement. I cannot see it even under a powerful halogen light and using a 10X eye piece but it can just be heard in the very quiet part of the movement. It is really very faint indeed.
Both side of the two records are in fabulous condition with no visible marks, a lovely shine and clean labels.
The sleeve to record 1 is in excellent condition with just a slight crease and 10mm split to the opening edge(photograph 2). The corners and edges of both sleeves are superb with nice straight spines and clear printing. The rear of both sleeves are superb with undamaged flipbacks and are really clean. Both sleeves have a name written in pencil above the record number. These can easily be erased but I try to keep things as they are. Please examine the photographs carefully to see just how nice these records are.
The sound on both records is superb with no clicks, ticks, pops or anything that should not be there except for the very faint pressing fault mentioned above.

I fully play all the 'Buy It Now' records listed in my shop as I do not understand how anyone can accurately describe a record without doing so. Many mint looking records do in fact have problems and can sound awful. Conversely some early records with marks can play superb because of the deeper grooves.
Grading:
Mint means factory sealed and therefore unplayed.
Near mint record means there are no visible signs that the record(s) have been played and no visible marks at all on the record. The record will have been fully play checked and there will be no audible faults.
Excellent means there are one or more light marks that do not affect the sound quality. The record will be fully play checked and the marks will be described.
Sleeves are carefully described and photographed.

Box sets and large numbers of records:
For box sets count the number of records in the box and add another LP for the extra weight of the box. Some box sets have a heavy libretto or booklet so may weigh more.
