Description
This is another sale from my collection of classical records, which includes early stereo rarities on Decca, Columbia, HMV and RCA.
Recording first published 1965 of Uk Columbia SAX 5275 Red Semi label Prokofiev The Two Concertos For Violin and Orchestra played by Nathan Milstein and the Philharmonia Orchestra conducted by Carlo Maria Giulini /the New Philharmonia Orchestra conducted by Rafael Fruhbeck De Burgos. Sleeve is a flip back. The matrix numbers engraved on the run-out are S1 36009-A13 and S2 36009-A13.
Grading
Would grade the record visually as Excellent. Vinyl is no noticeable marks, just spindle marks are on both labels. It plays well on my Linn Sondek, no skips or jumps. There is noticeable crackle on side 1 at the end of band 1. There is crackle in places on side 2. So I would audio grade as VG+. Sleeve is Excellent.
Note that record will be posted in a cardboard record mailer. Sleeve will be in a plastic sleeve, separate from the record and inner sleeve. Record and inner sleeve will be in a card sleeve.
