OTTO KLEMPERER - United Kingdom LP - Stereo.

Featuring: Elisabeth Schwarzkopf.

1) Rare Original,authentic United Kingdom earliest 1st pressing of the 1961 album by Otto Klemperer conducting The Philharmonia Orchestra - Mahler No. 4 Symphony. With Elisabeth Schwarzkopf.

2) On Columbia label Catalogue no.SAX 2441 with Matrix no`s YAX 760-2. YAX 761-8. With "Sold In UK" label text.

4) The vinyl is very clean & shiny with a few small hairlines under light EXC+. The Blue/Silver labels are MINT. The audio on 4th movement track has 9 very light continuous background pops (but I cannot see why this is happening) otherwise plays absolutely Superb. No noise between tracks. Music comes over loud & clear. The Garrod & Lofthouse "Patents Pending" laminated(front) F/B sleeve is very, very clean EXC++. Solid pristine spine.Original EMI "Patents Applied For" poly lined, die cut, advertising Inner Sleeve EXC+.

5) Tracks: Side1. First Movement / Second Movement. Side 2. Third Movement / Fourth Movement(featuring E.Schwazkopf).

6) Cherished well cared for condition and amazingly now over Half-A-Century(53 Years)old!!.....which says it all.

7) I`m auctioning this for my sons` mother in law, she has had it since new, been in protective sleeve approx last 30 years.
