Title:Callas-Mad Scenes.Maria Meneghini Callas and the Philarmonia Orchestra conducted by Nicola Rescigno.Original UK pressing from 1959 on the blue/silver stereo COLUMBIA label,SAX 2320,matrix stampers are: YAX 169- I6 and YAX 168-4.Contains a nice company deluxe innersleeve.Side 1: ANNA BOLENA (DONIZETTI) PIANGETE VOI? Condition:the record looks beautiful mint-/ex+++,it plays as such in mint- almost all of the time.There are many quiet parts,some of them with moments of complete silence,just a few play with an occasional low,not disturbing backgroundnoise in ex+.Even most of these are free of that and play in mint- !The sleeve is in mint-/ex++ as well:the laminated flipback sleeve has  a white back with only slightest agewear,the upper and the sideseams are perfect,the lower seam has ca. 5 mm rub at the corner and a ca.15 mm rub underneath the lettering next to the Callas-photo(the lamination did not lift),there’s a slightest few mm cornerwear(rub) at the upper right.The inner sleeve is intact.Outstanding copy.Grading:this used record has been cleaned once on a prof. cleaning machine.After that I playgrade it on a Rega Planar 9 with a Rega Super Elys moving magnet system(stereo) and I also visually grade each record under a strong light.I give you a detailed desciption of both gradings.50ies/early 60ies pressings of classical music are very hard to be found in completely mint(-) conditions,even if they look so,they mostly don’t play as such on the whole,that’s why I give you a visual- and a play-grading!My basic gradings are:mint-ex-vg.
