Up for auction is a legendary audiophile treasure: Leonid Kogan performing Brahms Violin Concerto, with Kyril Kondrashin conducting the Philharmonia Orchestra. Originally released on the infamous Columbia SAX label. This pressing is widely considered the holy grail for classical violin collectors, celebrated for its astonishing clarity and Kogan's flawless, virtuosic technique. Whether you are a seasoned collector or an audiophile looking for the pinnacle of analog sound, this is an opportunity to any vinyl library. Label: Columbia Catalog #: SAX 2307 Version: ED1 Blue/Silver Matrix: YAX 303-4 / YAX 304-11 Country: UK Year: 1960 LP: Visually tremendous NM shape. The playback is incredible, but I am conciously grading it as NM-. All the LP's of this era do have some sort of imperfection (like a small pop here, and a little crackle there). It's pretty much inevitable and also the charm of this era's sound. Cover: Normal sellers would rate this as NM or VERY close to NM(-).  It does have an old shop sticker. See pictures for details.
