Produced by blues-guru Mike Vernon, this is Savoy’s first issue album on the red unboxed Decca label with 1A / 1A matrix numbers. This is the rarer MONO issue. The record has light scuffs, not too serious, and plays fine with pops on run-in and quiet parts. The sleeve is excellent. Kept in plastic sleeve. NO rips, splits or damage. Complete with Mono red-edged inner sleeve with date "10-69" printed.
Legendary blues band, and one of the earliest of British blues bands, Savoy Brown, with founder guitarist Kim Simmonds at the helm, helped launch the 1967 UK blues boom movement that took blues music back to the USA. Side Two was recorded live at The Cooks Ferry Inn, London on 12th May, 1969.
