Extremely rare first press of this fantastic record with a great version of "Purple Haze". The quality of the vinyl is unheard of, in EX+ condition at the very least. Many sellers would grade this NM.
Vinyl: EX+. Most of the early Savoy Brown records are in a deplorable state. And so I am very happy to offer for auction this exemplary beauty which has defied the odds!!! Only two or three of the wispiest of hairlines can be observed under a strong light source. The replay is phenomenal!!! There are NO skips, NO pops or jumps. There is no discernable background noise. A real credit to this heavy vinyl with high groove walls, A PURE QUALITY SLAB OF HEAVY GLOSSY VINYL!!!!
I have played this in FULL> The replay is ASTOUNDING!!! .There are not any jumps or skips. There is no background noise at all!! Very remarkable for this 1969 vinyl!!! I played this on my Technics turntable with a Linn cartridge and through my very revealing B&W three way speakers!!!
Sleeve: EX++ Front laminated . . The colours are still as vibrant as 41 years ago. The spine is completely legible, quite unlike 95% of these Decca sleeves which are extremely flimsy and vulnerable!! All edges are unworn and the opening is nice and crisp. the spine is deadstraight and 100% legible. Laminated with "Clarifoil". "Sleeve printed in England by Clout & Baker Ltd." All in all a more than great sleeve.
Labels : NM. A few light spindle marks.
.
International postage : This will be sent by registered tracked service if over £40.00.
In this case please wait for my invoice.
A extremely respectable copy of this very scarce album!!! Any questions please ask me and I will try to answer soon. As always a full no quibble refund policy (excluding postage) is in place.
