Review by Scott YanowJoe Wilder has long had one of the most appealing tones of all trumpeters, and his lyrical style is well suited to lightly swinging jazz. On this lp, Wilder is joined by pianist Hank Jones, bassist Wendell Marshall and drummer Kenny Clarke for five melodic standards (including a 10½-minute version of "Cherokee"), Ozzie Cadena's "Sixbit Blues" and three previously unissued alternate takes. This is one of Savoy's better lp's and contains enjoyable and thoughtful music.

All of my lps are packed in LP mailers well sandwiched with the lp outside the jacket. Bubble wrapped with cardboard protectors. I ship worldwide. LP's are seperated from jacket and packed in a re-sealable jacket. Lp's are shipped in a new cardboard lp mailer with bubble wrap and mailer inserts for protection.
