SATIN FINISH Modern Funk/Northern Soul 45 Took A Chance On Love Vinyl TEST PRESS CONDITION OF THE VINYL: Amazing find right here, my friends. I just listened to both tracks to make sure everything sounds fine and to see if there were any issues -- only thing I noticed is a very minor storage warp on the very edge of the 45 that caused the needle to move up and down a little, but nothing major at all. Of course there is some light static due to scuffs and light scratches, but nothing that affects play or distracts from the sound. I did a search on Discogs and a few other sites to make sure the numbers written on the label and matrix numbers GI-1008 went with the same artist -- and they do. You're never going to find another test pressing of this around or for sale, that's for sure. Last stock copy on Green Back Records sold last year for $1,009 in pretty bad condition. The fact that this is maybe 1 of a total of 3 or 4 test pressings makes this pretty rare for a collector.
