Description: I purchased this sealed many years ago and only recently cracked the seal to needle drop it. In beautiful condition this fantastic Folkways LP has Fabio over some funky instrumentation. Incredibly hard to find especially in this condition!

One of the few funk rarities from the Folkways vaults. A Lecturer from the university of Berkely, Fabio got together with some family members and local musicians and immortalized one of the grooviest pieces, period. The album is a mix of funk and afro-percussion tunes with scorching vocals and brilliant afro-centric poetry. Think Cymande arrangments with James Brown's teachings and a slightly badder Nikki Giovanni. With titles like "Work It Out", "Boss Soul", "Soul Through A Licking Stick", "Panther Caged", "Black Back", & "A Mover" intuition should be telling you that the contents within are all one could desire in a funk rarity! Oh so clean, oh so elusive, do the do on spiritual soul over-load!

All records original pressings unless otherwise noted. All records cleaned a Nitty Gritty Machine & mailed in professional LP boxes, fillers, & poly bags. Most packages mailed out within 24 hours of payment received. Any audio snippets present were made from actual vinyl being sold.
