Hello! This is my extra still sealed copy of SAPO on Bell Records (BELL 1301) from 1974 in immaculate condition and now 30 years old! An obscure Frisco band and never reissued to my knowledge. I've seen it described as a bit SANTANA-like Latin jazz funk-rock, some tunes are sung in Spanish, some in English, and the rest are instrumental. The opening track is well known as a "beat-digger" classic! The main members are RICHARD BEAN on lead vocals and Timbales, JOSE SIMON on bass, BOBBY GAVIOTA on drums, RAUL REKOW on congas, KINCAID MILLER on keys and Clavinet, and OSCAR ESTRELLA on guitar. Songs are "Been Had", "Can't Make It", Ritmo del Corazon", Get It On", "Nina", It's the Music", Sapo's Montuno" and "Wishbone".
