Killer psychedelic lounge by the maestro, Sandro Brugnolini. A cinematic and unusual example of the best Italian Library sound. Expect an elegantly stoned mix of exploitation acid tinged rock / psych jazz / experimental moods with supernatural touches / studio trickery and stylish, funky bossa ;) Our soundclip opens with the beats / hammond and fuzz distortions of SUPERMARKET followed by several other important trax, including the spellbinding waltz of GIUGGI (with beautiful flute solos) / the Brazilian groove of GREGORIO VII / the magical LSD-tinged ANNA theme / the gothic horror influenced CHIOSTRO and SEPOLTURA / the freaky hippie jazz of RITORNO IN MACCHINA (with weird mechanical FX) and the spatial / art house film ambience of UTOPIA with strung-out fuzz and bells. We've recorded the whole session as every theme features strangely hypnotic rhythms and sounds. Both SUPERMARKET and GIUGGI were comped on Stroboscopica Vol. 3 for the Plastic label. Inventive, Giallo thriller style atmospheres with a stylish jazz and / or avant-garde undercurrent. Same cult composer behind the incredible Gli Arcangeli / Modern Jazz Gang soundtrack on RCA Italiana (SP 8003) / Overground on Sem and L'uomo Dagli Occhiali A Specchio OST on Vroommm label. Vinyl is in shiny, VG++ condition overall with some hairlines and faint scuffs. Light surface noise. Some soft pops / ticks (as you can hear on the soundclip). Sermi film distribution sticker to both sides of label (one sticker looks partially removed with NO damage to label). The thick card / front laminated sleeve is in strong VG++ condition overall with light wear. Some laminate crease lines. A touch of corner wear, in places. Sermi Film sticker over the yellow Gemelli artwork logo, top right of front sleeve. Sermi ink stamp to bottom of back sleeve (with marker pen line below). Ring dirt marks to back sleeve. Sharp looking item. Camera flash glare to sleeve and label photo. Very rare Library Lp!!!
