BIZET: CARMEN
Rare 1st Edition of this stereophonic classic. 3 LP set complete with large format libretto on the “white cherub” HMV angel label and in superb condition throughout. This bona fide classic finds Callas at the peak of her powers.

GRADING
SLEEVE: EX
The rough textured box is in superb condition. There is no scuffing and there are no tears or separations. The gold inset spine text is in great condition. The top and bottom flaps are bent slightly outwards.
The Libretto is In great condition being perfect save a couple of finger prints to the front and rear covers.
RECORD: EX+/EX+/EX+
Both visually and audibly all 3 records are in as new condition with no marks and no deterioration in sound quality whatsoever. You will not find better.
The above record grading is based on Record Collector magazine system:
MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.
EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.
VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.
