Description
A great opportunity to buy a copy of a RARE VINYL 7 inch single from the 1960's by Sammy Ambrose called "This Diamond Ring".
This is a U.K. pressing issued in 1964 on the Stateside label (SS 385). It has "This Diamond Ring" on the A side with "Bad Night" on the B side.
The matrix numbers are:- 45 KR 4469-1N (A side)(see photo) and 45 KR 4470-1N (B side).
The A side is a classic Northern Soul rarity which is hardly ever available and is much in demand. The B side is a great R 'n' B instrumental.
The record is in a VERY GOOD condition. I always grade and examine records under a bright table lamp and there are many light surface marks evident on both sides, but nothing serious. Having played both sides the only blemish to report is on playing the A side there are two "pops" during the instrumental introduction and after that the whole A side and B side play as excellent and sound great. The record is perfectly flat and has no warps of any description.
The labels are clean and free from any writing or major defects.
The record is housed within an original company sleeve in EXCELLENT condition, with the record's serial number written in the top corner.
