KEN DOWD - ACTATE/DEMO RECORD FROM THE LEGENDARY SUN STUDIOS IN MEMPHIS - OWNED BY SAM PHILLIPS

Has 639 Madison Ave., Memphis, Tn. on it with a phone number. This would be the new studio Sam built just down from the one on Union Ave. where Carl Perkins, Elvis Presley and others made history.

King And Queen/A Sad Story

Sounds like 60's era. King is a Teener and A Sad Story is a tear jerker.

I have no idea who Ken Dowd is. It could have been an act they thought had some merit and were considering pushing or it could be a session Ken scheduled and paid for at the studio.
At any rate, it's a nice item for the Sun Records collector.
