Description

Lightnin’ Hopkins is a foundational Texas bluesman; Lightnin’! is a key 1969 double LP on Poppy Records capturing his late-60s prime and remains a sought-after collector piece.


Collector grade original 1969 US first press on Poppy Records, catalog PYS-60002. Stereo double LP pressed for the US market.


Well-preserved example with near mint vinyl and a gatefold showing honest wear consistent with long careful storage.


There is a taped seam at the top right of the open gatefold. Please see photos.


Inner sleeves are original Poppy issue with some seam splits and one small tear visible in photos.


Matrix runout etchings confirmed first-press identifiers for this release.
