Description

Rare 1965 RCA Records, original US Mono pressing. Sam Cooke's last recorded LP, issued soon after his tragic death, featuring "Shake" and "A Change is Gonna Come", and several other all-time classics. Gorgeous analog sound on the original 60s vinyl.
VPI cleaned, record in strong VG to VG+ condition. It plays really well throughout (no skips, ticks, pops, etc), but there is a frequent underlying static-like sound on many tracks. Not enough to spoil the otherwise great sound, but enough to downgrade it to a conservative VG (it very well may get better with further cleaning).
The cover is a strong VG+ to EX condition, still partially in original seal, the laminated cover is still very shiny and clean, looks excellent for its age. Includes original RCA inner sleeve.
