If you couldn't afford the $3.98 for the album, perhaps the $1.98 Ep was better for your pocketbook. Record companies knew that while teenagers might not be able to afford the Lps, they could spring for the EPs, (twice the songs – twice the price!) and playing into that they released loads of 4-track EPs.
