Salvatore Accardo : Vivaldi* ?– Le Quattro Stagioni, Concertos For 3 & 4 Violins

This record is in near mint condition. It has no spindle marks visible(even under bright light) on the labels and there are no pen marks, scuffs or any other damage. There are no stains or fading and the centres are not loose or worn. Overall the labels are clean, bright and in superb near immaculate condition.

As for the vinyl itself, both sides are beautifully clean with nothing at all showing in normal light. There is is not even one small line that I can see anywhere, it is in superb condition. When viewed under bright light there is still very little present. There is a few of the most minor wispy lines showing but nothing at all major and overall it is in fantastic condition. It has a vivid lustre, no blemishes and shows little to no signs of use.

I play tested the record, in its entirety, on a good quality, revealing system(Technics deck/SME 3009 arm/cartridge/Ortofon stylus). It played really well and there was little to report and nothing at all serious. Firstly it lays completely flat on the deck and upon playing there is next to no arm movement noticeable. The run in and between tracks is near silent with hardly a trace of surface noise. There are of course no skips, sticks, clicks, pops or any other unwanted noises. The only thing I noted was the most minor odd occasional trace of static audible in a few of the most mellow near silent parts. This was very minor however and is really only the incredibly light noise of the actual vinyl. The audio itself was defined, clear and punchy. All tracks sounded superb and the album as a whole plays as it looks, which is near mint(a term I do not use lightly).

The gatefold sleeve is in excellent condition. It has only a touch of very minor wear to the edges and corners with the writing along the spine all clearly legible. There are of course no splits or serious areas of wear, and no tears or scuffs anywhere. There is little to no creasing and next to no ring marks evident but there is a few minor things to mention. Firstly there is writing along the bottom of the rear. This is the sleeves main issue and the reason I have not graded higher. Other than this there is also a tiny dent to the left rear edge, some light discolouring to the white areas(very mild) and a few sporadic indentations showing when angled on the front. There is also a few faint 'age spots' inside the gatefold and a small faint black 'smudge' or mark to the far right side bottom area. Overall the sleeve is a very nice example but for the pen marks. It is strong and clean with no major issues, just the pen marks to the rear and a few minor things as mentioned. I have tried to describe the sleeve as best I can but please study the pictures provided to gain as much information as possible as to its condition.

It includes its original plain white poly-lined inner which is in near mint condition. This has no splits, tears or pen marks and little to no creasing or discolouring.

The record will be packaged in cardboard stiffeners and bubble wrapped thoroughly when dispatched. It will also be sent in a brand new protective plastic sleeve, and within 24hrs of receiving payment to try to ensure a swift delivery.
