Lovely white label promo copy of Sallie Blair’s 1958 Hello, Tiger LP on MGM E3723. The former Ellington singer is accompanied by the great Neal Hefti here, doing a set of standards in her wonderful way. One of the great forgotten jazz vocalists of that time. This copy is very nice as well. The disc does have some scuffs and light marks but plays beautifully with only light crackle in a few spots, mostly between songs and at the very beginning of each side. Really not bad at all. A lovely listen, with really stunning sound. The cover is near flawless, with only a 1” split at the top. Otherwise only the slightest signs of gentle use. This is a gorgeous copy all around, and a very rare original promo. Hard to beat.
