Truly beautiful copy of the original 1959 first pressing of the classic "Stereo Spectacular" LP of Charles Munch conducting Saint-Saëns' third symphony, on RCA Living Stereo LSC-2341. This is an original copy with the Living Stereo band at the bottom of the front cover (unique to this pressing), Miracle Surface hype-sticker, shaded dog labels, and 2S/6S stamps. One of the great audiophile releases of the early stereo era, a true classic of the Living Stereo classical catalog. This copy makes it easy to see why it is so well loved. It plays absolutely gorgeously, nearly completely flawlessly. It looks just beautiful with maybe the tiniest sleeve scuff or two, but barely even that. A stunning copy. The cover is beautiful as well, with only a couple of small things to mention: a very slight splitting at the bottom center edge where the disc touches the edge, but really it is barely anything at all, and a 1cm tear at the top right corner, also not a big deal. Otherwise the cover is beautifully crisp and clean, with no seam splits, corner dings, or even ringwear. The spine is fully intact and legible. This is a top, lovely original copy.
