While the "Last Emperor" soundtrack has been very well received, Sakamoto-style world music was produced by inviting a variety of guests and expanding the world view of the previous work "NEO GEO". [announced in 1989]

The first US Virgin Records contract.
· A work that welcomed various guests such as Brian Wilson (Beach Boys), Robbie Robertson (ex-The Band), Robert Wyatt (ex-Soft Machine), Youssou N'Dour, Art Lindsay and others.
The recorded songs are different between the overseas edition and the Japanese edition, and this time, the song selection of the Japanese edition was adopted according to the intention of the person himself.
About half of the recorded songs, including 2 Okinawan folk songs and The Rolling Stones' "We Love You," are cover songs.
Albert Watson is in charge of the cover art.
