Description
To my mind, this is the Rush 'holy grail'... A genuine, original first (and only!) pressing of the extremely rare 1st ever Rush release - Not Fade Away / You Can't Fight It - Canada-only 7" single. These tracks have never been re-released and have never been available anywhere else. - Released in 1973, this single sold virtually no copies and has never been re-printed. This is a shame, because both sides of this single are absolutely blistering! (A superb recording too!)

This record is in superb condition. There are a few very light surface marks, probably caused by the paper sleeve, but both sides of this single play perfectly and this is properly graded as at least excellent-plus.
Both labels are perfect except for a small number, hand-written in blue biro on both sides. I don't know the reason for this, but it could be that this was some sort of promo copy sent out to a local radio station or music magazine.
Eagle-eyed Rush fans may be wondering if they've seen this particular copy before... A few years ago, I provided scans of the labels for a Rush 'e-zine' called The Camera Eye who were doing a feature on the Moon Records releases (I wonder if this site still exists...?)
This is an amazing find! I've put a reserve on this. Frankly, I don't care if I sell this one or not...!
