Rush - A Farewell To Kings - Vinyl - 1977 - AUTOGRAPHED by Neil, Geddy & Alex. The vinyl condition is good - no skips or jumps, but it does have occasional crackles - perhaps a good clean will improve that. The cover and inner picture sleeve are in VGC, and the autographs are clear and perfect. Dispatched with 'Royal Mail 2nd Class Signed For'. THE STORY BEHIND THIS ALBUM ....
Rush first toured the UK in June 1977, promoting thier as yet UK unreleased album, A Farewell to Kings. I was fortunate enough to get tickets for 4 of the 7 UK gigs, and whilst following them around the country, got to know them and their crew. This ablum had a UK release in September 1977, and so I had to wait for thier 1978 tour to meet up with them again. I met them, this album in hand, in the dressing room backstage at the Glasgow Apollo - in my opinion, and the probably the opinion of everyone who went there regularly, the best rock venue on the planet. Neil, Geddy and Alex, all signed the inside cover with full signatures.
So, the time has come for it to have a new owner - hopefully someone who will really appreciate it ..... A farewell from me
