Description
I AM BACK TO LISTING LPs OF VARIOUS MUSICAL STYLES FOR THE NEXT FEW WEEKS - This is a reasonably priced ORIGINAL 1961 U.S. BIG TOP RECORDS LP titled 'Runaway With Del Shannon' containing Del's big 1961 breakthrough hit 'Runaway' plus eleven more tunes. It is U.S. Big Top Records catalog number 12-1303, thick rigid vinyl deep groove pressing, black labels with silver print. This LP occupied a proud place in my personal collection until I was able to obtain a very slightly better condition first pressing. Tracks: Misery, Day Dreams, His Latest Flame, The Prom, The Search, Runaway, I Wake Up Crying, Wide Wide World, I'll Always Love You, Lies, He Doesn't Care, Jody. Visual condition of record is conservatively VG+ with a small to moderate amount of light surface marks and scuffs which cannot be felt and do not affect play. Condition of cover is a mid VG+ with a couple of small staple holes near the upper left corner, some very light brown mildew spots on the front cover as can be seen in the accompanying image, a few tiny stains near the lower left corner of the back cover, a little general contact wear, and some general wear along the edges and on the corners. Cover has no splits, writing, tears, or stickers. This scarce LP would be a choice addition to any roots rock-n-roll record collection! Winning bidder pays $3.00 media mail postage or actual priority mail postage within the U.S. I WILL SHIP WORLDWIDE - Uninsured first class international airmail postage to the UK or anyplace in Europe is $13.50 - Please e-mail me for postage rates to other areas outside the U.S. WINNING BIDDER PLEASE DO NOT SEND CASH - IT PROBABLY WILL NOT GET HERE! I will give an immediate refund (less shipping) upon return of the LP if winning bidder is dissatisfied for any reason. Good luck!
