Description
Ruggiero Ricci plays The Glory of Cremona on Decca DXSE-7179. He is accompanied by Leon Pommers on piano. Ricci plays 15 famous violins (and 15 different tunes). LP has no scratches, scuffs, or signs of wear. Plays great. There is a seven inch companion disc, enabling the listener to hear each violin playing a theme from the Bruch Violin Concerto. This disc also looks great. The jacket has a little writing on the back cover, but all seams are intact. A beautiful set.
Shipping to US addresses will add $3.50 to your winning bid (media mail). If you prefer shipping by Priority Mail or UPS I will be happy to accommodate your desire and will quote shipping charges at cost after the close of the auction. International shipping is by surface or air at cost plus $1 to cover the cost of a cardboard mailer. International shipping charges will be calculated and quoted after the close of the auction. I use sturdy cardboard mailers to protect the record. I'll gladly combine multiple purchases to save on shipping and I'm happy to hold wins until future auctions close to combine shipping.
I try to grade records fairly. I have found that some times records that play well on my turntables don't always sound the same on other systems. If you feel my descriptions are incorrect, you can return the record for a full refund of your purchase price less the shipping charge.
Winning bidders in the US can pay through Paypal, by check, or money order. International winning bidders may pay through Paypal or international money order. I will be happy to sell to bidders anywhere. However, in the past I have sold records to winning bidders in other parts of the world (especially Korea and Italy) who have been very slow to respond to their e-mails and have been slow to transmit payment. I will cancel the bids of those who win but are not responsive within 3 days. I will then offer the item(s) to the under-bidder.
