Description

This 45 record was Sun Records first big hit! This record was an answer recording to Big Mama Thornton's recording of "Hound Dog" Rufus used all the same music notes in his recording & just wrote new lyrics. Sam Phillips, the owner of Sun Records was sued for copyright infringment over this & nearly went bankrupt. The other side is a recording of "Walking In The Rain".  This 45 was the first of two recordings Rufus did with Sun.  Comes with original brown paper jacket. Condition is Good.  Great addition to your collection!!
