RUDOLPH VALENTINO BRUNSWICK PICTURE RECORD


On May 14, 1923, while in New York City, Valentino made his only two vocal recordings for Brunswick Records. 


  • On one side of the unnumbered picture disk is "Kashmiri Song" (in English) from The Sheik and on the other is  "El Relicario" (in Spanish) from Blood and Sand.


  • The recordings were not released until after Valentino's death because his English/Spanish pronunciation was not up to Brunswick's standards.  The distributor at that time was Celebrities Recording Co. of Hollywood, CA.  


Since I do not have the proper equipment to play the disk, I can't guarantee the quality of the recording, but it looks clean.
