Rubber Soul by the Beatles.
UK third mono pressing to the best of my knowledge.

XEX 179 5/XEX 180 5
Firstly, the record:
Visually pretty good. There are a few light marks on either side but nothing terribly deep. The labels are clean & unmarked.
I have play tested this record (no *visual testing only* nonsense) & it sounds great. There's a school of thought that this is the best pressing of Rubber Soul & it does indeed sound as deep & warm as a freshly drawn bath just like sixties mono copies should. I noticed a few light clicks on Girl but nothing to overpower the music. Good as is but would undoubtedly go up a grade with a professional clean.
Secondly, the sleeve:
Generally of a decent standard. Clean & unmarked with a good sharp spine. Showing ever such slight age but the pictures tell a thousand words.

KT tax code on side B
*Trade mark of the Gramophone company* (seemingly pasted on??) the corner of the G & L flipback sleeve.
In summary- a nice & honest copy of a collectable record. Not final upgrade standard but really pretty nice.
