Roy Robert – I Know What To Do To Satisfy You / I Know What To Do To Satisfy You (Instrumental) – Tina 500 (US)

What can I say? This gorgeous disc from Roy Robert(s) is simply one of the finest soul records of all time. It’s the first, circa 1966, release on record store owner Curtiss “Curt” Moore’s Tina imprint, the sister label of Bo Ro, out of Greensboro, NC. Top copy, played only a handful of times by the looks of it. Very loud-sounding disc, totally without any clicks or noise. The A-side is pressed slightly off-centre; not terribly so, but should be adjusted to give maximum pleasure.

Condition: Excellent. There’s some very slight damage to the record’s outer edge, most likely this is how it came from the pressing plant and it does not affect the playing in the slightest. Some light label wear (please see scans). Not able to record clips at present, but please check my feedback and bid with confidence. You will not be disappointed!
