From Wikipedia... Roy Kelton Orbison (April 23, 1936 – December 6, 1988) was an American singer, songwriter, and guitarist known for his distinctive and powerful voice, complex song structures, and dark, emotional ballads. Orbison's most successful periods were in the early 1960s and the late 1980s. Many of Orbison's songs conveyed vulnerability at a time when most male performers projected strength. He performed with minimal motion and in black clothes, matching his dyed black hair and dark sunglasses.
All-Time Greatest Hits is a 2-LP compilation album by Roy Orbison released in 1972, featuring the original Monument Records recordings. The album received Gold certification from the Recording Industry Association of America on July 13, 1990, and Platinum certification was awarded on August 29, 2001.
I played this LP completely through on both sides on my audio-technia AT-LP60XBT turntable without issues. It plays beautifully and sounds great! This set covers a lot of ground and finishes with one of his most well known songs, "Oh, Pretty Woman".
