Condition: I will be using VJM grading for all 78s
Record: Visually: G, because of many scratches to both sides. The record looks well damaged yet very shiny. Most damaged is from poor handling, not playing. now here's the interesting thing...
Audio: It plays E- to E. This record sounds fantastic. Most of the scratches must be at the surface level where the mono needle doesn't read them.
If you are looking for museum quality, this is not the copy you want. If you are looking for a great sounding rockabilly record to move your feet to, this record is the perfect choice.
Note: Audio grading is done with a pitch perfect Numark Turntable and a Stanton 500 - II Cartridge fitted with a Mono 78 Stylus.
Amp is a Vintage Harman Kardon with high filter set. Speaker: Single Mono Vintage Ampro. I feel this is a very close to authentic set up. I grade with Bass and Treble settings at zero for the most reliable read of actual record quality
