Description

An original STEREO 1st press of 'DREAMS' from 1963. Matrix 1W/1W - 1st cut. Stampers 1C/1U - one of the first few thousand copies. The labels exhibit the Decca deepgroove and recording 1st pub info still present - all indicative of 1st issue. The heavy-set vinyl comes housed in an original Stereo James Upton cover. There's also a mid-sixties Decca inner sleeve too.
Vinyl (Vg+) In decent condition - particularly given the vintage. A good few marks per side - nothing heavy or nasty looking. Plays VERYGOOD+ by and large. Not clean enough to hit higher grades - but a perfectly acceptable rendition of this hard to find stereo 1st copy.
Cover (Vg+) Again, given the vintage I'd argue it's looking pretty sprightly. A clean front with a bit of creasing evident. The rear has avoided the worst of the ageing process - still a bit of evidence. Overall the cover retains excellent rigidity.
Inner (Vg+) Lightest ageing. No splits.
