Description
This is the original deep-groove (Side B) Van Gelder-stamped pressing of Roy Haynes “Cymbalism” on the purple and silver labels of New Jazz NJLP 8287. Other than a few light inaudible hairlines/scuffs, the playing surface is in beautiful condition, with a high luster; perhaps played once or twice. There is a low level hiss, noticeable on quiet passages, that is typical of late New Jazz pressings; otherwise, the music comes through cleanly and crisp, with no loss of fidelity. The cover is in superb condition – clean and bright throughout. Personnel include Frank Strozier, Ronnie Matthews, and Larry Ridley. WE NOW ACCEPT PAYPAL.
