Description

An original 1st press. Matrix 4/4.  Believe me - you really want a great audio copy...and this example offers a delightful rendition - total perfection. The vinyl comes housed in an original cover....with the original black inner. . So, 100% genuine and 100% complete. Do you need to bother with total perfection level? I'd argue on an absolute classic benchmark LP....with fussy sections....I'd say...'YES'...you should practically insist on it.
How do you single out the early copies --? The labels have a solid WHITE 'I' for Island. These are the first!
Vinyl (Ex+) Very well preserved and has only seen light use. Under close inspection there are a couple of slight marks per side,  nothing remotely troublesome though. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals a mostly EXCELLENT+ level of playback. Lovely quiet intros and inbetweens and the audio comes across with super clarity. A fantastic rendition by any standard. Even the silence those lowkey trippy sections - perfect.  Definitive rendition. You will not find better - that I can guarantee you.
Cover (Ex/Ex-) Lovely clean surfaces - they certainly do not all look like this 47 years later! Think about it!!!. Firm openings. Text on the spine is all legible with some discolouration...that is the only vague fault...as the rest of the cover is just superb.. Overall super tidy. Solid rigid cover too. 
Inner (Ex) Nice. No splits.
