Description

An original 1st press of SIREN on UK Island from '75. Matrix 4/4. Etching "Thoroughly Moderne & GM". The vinyl comes housed in an original Robor cover. There's also a black inner sleeve too - with Island records address. So, 100% genuine and 100% complete.
Vinyl (Ex/Ex-) In great condition and has only seen light use. Under close inspection I could only make out a couple of light marks per side - nothing heavy or troublesome. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals a mostly EXCELLENT level of playback with one deviation. Intros and inbetweens are beautifully quiet and the audio comes across with perfect clarity. Those strings! A few slight crackles in the intro to Nightingale. That was all I could remotely pick up. Highly addictive. I couldn't even detect anything much as the super fussy Sentimental starts up - just the odd static crackle here and there. It is a super player.  Wow... Roxy really were good... [five albums in!]
Cover (Ex-) Lovely clean surfaces without much sign of wear at all. Jerry's on the rocks again! Only issue is a crease running across top left sector. Minimal edge wear. Spine 95% intact - real nice. Overall the cover retains excellent rigidity.
Inner (Ex) No splits. Bag present.
