Description
All the records I sell are from my own collection.
This is Roxy Music - Foolproof, released in 1977. Bootleg pressing, cat no. TAKRL1977 Matrix numbers are A/B. Labels are printed on matt paper & are clean with some spindle traces. Visually the record does show some light scratches on both sides, but for the most part these have no impact on playback. There is the odd click or pop & of course the sound quality is nowhere near studio quality, but it tracks well with no jumps. The atmosphere & excitement of the live performance shines through, I saw Roxy many times in my youth & listening to this record brings the memories flooding back. Cover is generic white card with a paper insert front.
An essential buy for completists & collectors alike.
I clean all my records with a VPI record cleaning machine & test play before selling.
Grade. Sleeve VG++. Vinyl Ex .
Record grading. I use the Record collector grading system as follows. M.(Mint). These are absolutely perfect in every way. NM. (Near Mint). A good description of a NM record is one that looks like it has just been bought & opened for the first time. In other words, nearly perfect, never played or handled. Ex. (Excellent). The record shows some signs of being played, but there is very little lessening of the sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing. VG. (Very Good). The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable. G. (Good). The record has been played so much that the sound has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits etc.
