**This 1975 US pressing is actually harder to find than the Jamaican Tafari pressing! Ive not seen another on sale recently anywhere.
This Heptone(s) release from 1975 was for the Little Roy set up and featured a great impassioned vocal over The Upsetters' Tight Spot rhythm - this is the US release with the Baba Leslie horns piece on the 'B' side instead of the Tafari All Stars 'Total Destruction' from the Jamaican release.**
I'm currently Selling Reggae, Roots, Dub and Ska from a collection I aquired that had not seen light of day for many years. Unlike much old Rare Reggae these have not been played to death and mostly are not defaced in the way many singles were.
This very playable copy of the single by THE HEPTONE 'REVOLUTION' / BABA LESLIE 'REVOLUTION' was released on the US AIRES label in 1975. It has survived with only minor surface scuffs on the 'A' side (not greatly affecting sound) and minor surface scratches 'B' side which again do not greatly affect sound.
The labels are stunning bright and clean with have NO Writing, Stickers or tears (see pics for exact condition)!!!
The single PLAYGRADES in between Very Good Plus and Very Good Plus plus condition with a little intro and background crackle in quieter passages and RARELY COMES UP FOR SALE in any country. It is supplied in a card sleeve with poly inner and an outer poly sleeve for dust protection.
Rare Record Collector Grading: Very Good +/+
VERY GOOD PLUS: The record has been played, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, with light surface mark(s) but without any major defects and some wear and tear on the cover.
